Diablo Valley Chapter #356

                         2009-2010

JOINT MEETING:

Diablo Valley & Amador Valley Chapters invite you

"FORECAST OF U.S. ECONOMY IN 2010"

MARCH 24, 2010

1 HOUR OF CPE

Speaker:

Dr. JAY L. TONTZ

Currently forecasts for 2010 fall into three categories: (1) a "W" with recession 2008-09, expansion second half of 2009 and recession in 2010; (2) a "V" with sharp contraction 2008-09 and rapid expansion on 2010; and (3) a "U" with sharp contraction 2008-09 and slow expansion in 2010.  We will review emerging economic data to see if we can justify a forecast for the country and our local economy in 2010.
